Family vacay in Myrtle Beach this weekend and when we arrived it was cold & rainy🥴 But we had a great time at the Hangout despite the weather! The Hangout is a huge restaurant and retail space that has the worlds largest pez dispenser collection, a wall covered in antique lunch boxes, a “wish wall”, a slide, life sized board games, big TV screens and live music & DJs. Here they encourage both kids and adults to dance on the tables & chairs and they do over the top birthday shoutouts. We had fun doing the Cha-Cha Slide and dancing on the chairs and watching the staff do line dances. The menu offers a variety of American food options, from burgers to fresh seafood and salads. It’s a big selection of beers and cocktails and specialty drinks for kids. We tried the Lifeguard burger (added the $5 Bushwhacker…coffee & bourbon milkshake), Chicken Nachos, Chicken Po’ Boy and Shrimp Plate. Drinks pictured are the kids pina colada, strawberry daiquiri, Sangria and Whisky Mule. This place is definitely a good time and we look forward to coming back to enjoy the outside area.
